Hello Friends,
This is Sandra Herrera Flores. I am the reunion committee chair for Class of 1985. This has been my 2nd reunion I have helped plan. It has been a lot of work but well worth it!

My message to you is that I am so very proud to be a Fresno High alum. I work and live in Fresno and go by the campus weekly. Just seeing the campus makes me smile...after all these years it simply makes me smile. My memories of Fresno High are tied to several things including Peter Flores; my son, Evan Flores and my friends, who are YOU!

Fresno High, for me, has served as a beginning point. I know we have all navigated our lives in one way or another from that place and time--from that beginning point. However, there is something affirming and makes me feel like I belong when I re-trace my journey and take the time to return to the point of origin and reconnect to people who helped shape and define who I was at 16, 17, and 18. And it is amazing that many of you continue to be in my life and are a part of who I am today.

So, please try to be here, during this time and place so we can reconnect and make some more memories together. And if it is impossible to be here in person, give us an update on your life and share "You" with the rest of us!

Good Golly! It's been that long... No, I never did long for a repeat of those old high school days. I think all I did back then was smoke dope and play handball. I'm good with the life I lived, and rarely look back! However, a reunion. I've never been to one of those. Maybe it's time. If I make it, let's have a beer. If not, then I'll have a beer and think of you all!
